But how good are we at keeping them, really?
Especially, when the need to win attention pressures us to sell bigger dreams, make ever-more-fantastical claims, go public with a lofty purpose statement, etc, etc.
Truth is, our products and services find it hard to live up to these promises. So, how much of our marketing money are we ultimately spending on creating customer disappointment down the line? And this at a time when the research shows customers expect more from us than ever.
We call this The Credibility Gap.
We believe it hurts brand performance over time.
And we have dedicated ourselves to fixing that.

What does credibility look like?
We have developed a proprietary Brand Credibility model. We use these 6 principles every day to… assess our partner brands, find creative opportunities, generate trust and customer value, and to critique our work and prove our success.
Meaningful Promises
The most credible brands make promises they can deliver… but that also challenge the business to be better. It means really listening to and understanding customers, so that we can shape ambitious promises that we can evidence now and through our future efforts.
Authentic Storytelling
Typically, brands have a lot to shout about and understand they need to elicit emotion. But only those brands that do this from a place of truth, with an authentic point of view, will be set for long-term success. Those brands understand every story is an opportunity to build trust, throughout customer relationships.
Magnetic Personality
Credible brands know they need to be more than just “human” (a concept so broad it practically guarantees blandness!). Instead we must shape a personality that the brand’s tribe will gravitate towards, and be okay with the fact that will alienate others (just ACTUAL humans!).
Satisfying Experiences
The one place you don’t want to “leave them wanting more”. Credible brands look at themselves through their customers’ eyes and use their own products and services like a new customer would. From this point of truth, we can build and augment experiences that don’t just deliver a “frictionless” experience… but deliver on the brand promise, in style!
